Reading in Level 3

We continue to read every day in Level 3 to build on our reading skills such as decoding unfamiliar vocabulary, reading with expression, phrasing and fluency and choosing just right books. We practise to articulate our thinking and opinions about the texts we read.

We are all working on the following Comprehension Strategies at school to further develop our understanding of the books we read and our ability to retell the text information. (Remember to practise these strategies at home when you are reading independently).
